100% bolted system, no welding — follow the steps in the video guide and the instructions below for a correct, fast assembly.
Make sure you have all the tools and conditions in place before you unpack the kit.
18 and 19 mm wrenches for the fixing bolts. A ratchet wrench speeds the process up significantly.
A 7 m tape measure and a bubble spirit level to check the structure is level and plumb.
Recommended for the final, even tightening of the bolts to the correct torque (40–50 Nm).
Lifting and aligning the structural parts requires two people. Do not attempt assembly on your own.
Follow the exact order of the steps — the structure is designed to be assembled in a specific sequence for optimal stability.
Check the level of the foundation or base with a spirit level. The surface must be flat to a maximum tolerance of ±5 mm along the entire length of the structure. Mark the exact corners of the structure with chalk or spray paint, following the dimensions in the technical sheet.
Make sure the area is clean, with no loose gravel or unevenness that could distort the base frame.
Unpack the kit on a clean surface and organise the parts by category: horizontal beams, vertical beams (columns), ISO corner castings, bolts and nuts, roof accessories. Tick off each category against the packing list included in the package.
Position the base's longitudinal beams on the foundation according to the markings. Connect them with the ISO corner castings, inserting the bolts without final tightening (leave play for adjustment).
Check the base diagonal: 670.5 cm (6705 mm) — the two diagonals must be equal. Adjust the positions before tightening. Then fit the steel floor cross members, insert the bolts without final tightening, re-check the diagonal, then tighten the cross members progressively, from the ends towards the middle.
Fitting the corrugated floor sheet — two options:
Raise the vertical columns one at a time and fix them temporarily into the lower ISO corner castings. Insert the bolts tightened only temporarily — just enough to hold the parts in place and leave play for adjustment.
Fitting the upper frame has two options, depending on your equipment. The rule stays the same: upper frame diagonal 670.5 cm (6705 mm), temporary bolts first, final tightening only after squaring and bracing.
Fit the wall panels (if included in the kit) from the base towards the top, fixing each panel to the steel frame with the fasteners provided. Then install the roof elements according to the instructions specific to the roof type you chose.
If the kit includes doors or windows, these are fitted last, after the frame and panels are fully secured.
Go over the whole structure and check every joint. Tighten any bolt that has loosened during assembly. Check once more that the columns are plumb and that the structure's diagonals are correct.
As a precaution, apply an anti-corrosion spray to any steel surface where the zinc was scratched during assembly (cuts, tool marks). Document the main joints with photos — useful for any later work.
Final checklist:
Essential information for a correct and safe assembly.
Over-tightening can deform the ISO corner castings or crack the thread. Maximum recommended torque: 50 Nm with a torque wrench.
Always wear protective gloves and steel-toe boots. The edges of the steel profiles are sharp and can cause cuts.
Steel expands in heat. If you assemble in extreme temperatures (below 0°C or above 35°C), leave a 1–2 mm expansion gap at the wall panels.
Every final-tightening step is practically irreversible. Check the alignment and diagonals at every stage, not just at the end.
On modules with drainage through the columns/corners, check before final tightening that the water has a clear path — especially where 4 corners meet or a perpendicular module blocks the neighbouring corners. Solutions: reposition the pile, leave space under the corner, or make a drainage channel.
The profiles are hot-dip galvanized, min. 100 g/m². Avoid prolonged contact with acidic materials (wet softwood, paints with aggressive solvents).

The CreaPAL bolt-on system requires no welding or specialist construction experience — anyone with moderate DIY skills can complete the assembly by following the instructions. However, at least 2 people are required for safety and for handling the large structural parts. We do not recommend assembling on your own.
Check the packing list as soon as you receive the kit. Any missing or defective item must be reported within a maximum of 48 h of delivery, by e-mail to office@creapal.ro with clear photos. Do not start assembly with incomplete parts — replacement parts are sent as quickly as possible.
A concrete base is the ideal option for maximum durability. If that's not possible, carefully levelled piles or precast pads can also be used. Untreated natural ground is not recommended long-term — soil moisture accelerates corrosion at the base and the structure can lean over time due to differential settlement.
Yes — this is one of the main advantages of the modular system. The structure can be fully dismantled and reassembled at another location without compromising the integrity of the parts, provided it is dismantled and stored correctly. We recommend re-tightening all bolts on reassembly, using new bolts where the old threads show wear.
